Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Business Manager 3 to lead all Business activities associated with Subsystems and Software Sustainment (S&SS) Operating Unit. This position will be located in Warner Robins, GA.

You will report to the Systems Sustainment and Software (SSS) Business Unit Business Management Director within the Defense Systems L&M Division and partners with the Program Director to establish strategy, prioritize requirements and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes.

Responsibilities include:
-Provide business oversight, interface with applicable customers and auditors (internal and external) and assist with contract negotiations as needed to ensure sound business deals within authorized parameters are achieved
-Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved

-You will use your knowledge and advanced understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); Federal Cost Principles including direct versus indirect, allowable vs. unallowable; Forward Pricing Rate proposal (FPRP) development, negotiation and execution; understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Financial Planning to include Annual Operating Plan development, budgeting and forecasting to include Capital expenditures, inventory and charitable contributions.
-You will use your proficiency at developing and motivating a productive staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills with focused emphasis on continuous process improvement

Basic Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related with a minimum of 10 years applicable experience in finance, accounting or program control. An additional 4 yrs of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

2. An understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, and the FAR
3. Knowledge of EVMS as applied to major government contracts
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
5. Proven professional and managerial skills
6. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

7. Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment
8. Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures
9. Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Proficient in SAP, BW and MPM or COBRA
2. Ability to develop and present material outside the immediate work function
3. Comfortable networking and interfacing with employees of other organizations.
4. A current Secret or Interim Secret clearance.
