The Engineering Infrastructure (EI) Project Manager is responsible for the project leadership and detailed management of cost, schedule and onboarding for the remaining 2019 and future 2020+ Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering Infrastructure development under the AI Campaign. The EI Project Manager will drive the development of the systems requirements and implementation aspects needed for programs and also track and escalate schedule and risk items as needed for the roll-out of the EI. The EI Project Manager will be responsible for all administrative efforts, working directly with the EI chief engineer to drive and close out specific duties for the position include: Action Item Tracking and Reporting. The Project Manager shall organize and support the development of written technical documentation and user manuals with guidance and input from the technical expertise on the project. Lead regular status meetings with the team and program representatives to support the EI develop goals in 2019 and beyond.


Other Tasks:
Collaborate with Microsoft and NG to assist with Azure implementation
Drive the engagement of key program customers to capture AI tooling and processing requirements
Work with Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (NGES) teams to help deliver on necessary changes needed to support AI campaign 2020 activities such as
o2020 cost allocation mode
oInfoSec scanning and network requirements
Work with NGES and Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) teams to continue build out of key AI mission use cases on Azure AI platform, including
oCompletion of key mission AI use case in Azure platform (ie predictive analytics)
oStandup of batch processing solution deploy capability for NG program teams to auto-deploy batch processing system
Along with additional tools, deploy IBM Watson Studio in Azure


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 6 years of work experience, or 4 years of work experience with a Masters degree
Experience managing IT and/or facility infrastructure projects
Experience performing within dynamic systems Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
General understanding of Systems and Software Requirements elicitation and generation.
General understanding of Architecture, Interface Definition, and Design.
Interact directly with systems engineers, software developers, testers, leaders, selected customers, and other professionals in a group.
Should also be able to collaborate on the creation, development, and presentation of technical briefings.

Be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Experience with an Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Program and/or Project management work experience
Control Account Management (CAM) or Project Control Analyst (PCA) Experience
Experience with Microsoft tools especially MS Project
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) fundamentals
Government proposal experience with aircraft structures and systems is highly desired.
Experience working with major prime customers especially with sophisticated user customers.
