We are currently seeking an experience Cyber Intelligence Analyst to support the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) Joint Cyber Center (JCC).  The JCC provides a leading-edge cyberspace operations capability in support of United States and Republic of Korea (ROK) combined operations within the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO) during armistice, contingencies and war.  The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will:

  • Serves as an all source intelligence analyst specializing in cyberspace in support of the JCC.

  • Analyzes all source intelligence reporting and information assurance. Information to provide situational awareness and indications and warnings to USFK.

  • Develops fused cyberspace intelligence products to include intelligence assessments, updates, summaries, and event based storyboards to ensure common situational awareness across the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO).

  • Develops and maintains order of battle for USFK adversaries.

  • Monitors and assesses adversary cyberspace capabilities and intent.

  • Answers intelligence requests for information from internal and external organizations.

  • Participates in analytical exchanges and collaborations with theater and national intelligence analysts.

  • Coordinate with All Source Analysis Division (ASAD) and Intelligence Fusion Center (IFC) to ensure cyberspace intelligence is integrated with other intelligence lines of operation.

Qualifications

    

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors degree plus 2 years relevant experience or a Masters degree or High School Diploma / Equivalent and 6 yrs experience may be accepted in Lieu of degree

  • 3 yrs experience in intelligence operations

  • Top Secret / SCI security clearance

  • Must have completed, or complete within 6 months of hire, one of the following courses: Joint Cyberspace Operations Planners Course (JCOPC), Joint Advanced Cyberspace Warfare Course (JACWC), Pacific Advanced Cyberspace Warfare Course (PACWC), or a service-specific equivalent to the above courses

  • Must  have completed, or complete within 6 months of hire one of the following certifications: Network+, Security+, GIAC Security Essentials, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals, or an approved equivalent

  • Knowledge of cyber threats , cyber-attack methods

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Invited Contractor status under the ROK/US Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)

      

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Korean Defense Language Institute Qualification levels of 1/1/1, Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) level 2, or proof of basic native fluency is desirable but not mandatory
