Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Vehicle Engineering Department is seeking Structural Analysis and Structural Design Engineers with experience in primary or secondary structures of military aircraft.  The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Structural Analysis & Design Group currently engaged in the exciting design and development of next generation aircraft.

In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:

As a member of the Structural Analysis and Design Team the candidate will have experience in either metallic or composite materials.  Desired skills include familiarity with tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, ZAERO, Finite Element Analysis (FEM), layout sizing, and/or structural integrity evaluations. Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks in parallel.


Basic Qualifications: 

 Bachelors of Science STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) from an accredited institution

2+ years of Aerospace engineering experience focused on Structural Design or Structural Analysis

-Ability to obtain and maintain and active DoD Secret Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

-Masters Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

-An active DoD Secret Security Clearance

-Direct experience in the Structural Analysis or Design of military aircraft
