Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Business Planning Analyst based out of Clearfield, UT.

 
What Youll get to Do:
 

Program planning efforts of an organizations activities. Develops information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into organizational plans. Leads analytical and intelligence-gathering function that is responsible for driving the Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process through the organization.

 

Leads cross functional meetings with sales, program managers, production leaders, buyers, material planners, finance, customer service, and senior leadership monthly. Responsible for driving sales forecast and customer demand accuracy using SIOP and Deltek Costpoint ERP to create and maintain accurate production forecasts that maximize customer satisfaction and ensure inventory is at optimum levels. Define and lead the Aerospace Structures (AS) Sales, Inventory and Planning (SIOP) function within the system enterprise and all Centers of Excellence (COEs).  Drive protocols and practices to standardize specific program master schedules that define resource needs, capacity constraints and measureable milestones against which the enterprise will perform. 

 

Ensure alignment with specific Earned Value measurement milestones and establish standard tracking mechanisms to measure performance. Excellent working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems. Excellent working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems and interactions, most specifically CostPoint. Utilize continuous improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma. Ensure full compliance with Government purchasing requirements/regulations and Northrop Grumman policy.

 

Interfacing with program management, Value Stream Organizations, and project managers and other departments regarding supply chain requirements. Prepare correspondence, and reports regarding SIOP matters.  Manage and monitor all aspects of SIOP key milestone and executive reporting. Assess current organizational construct and be a champion for change management. Excellent working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems and interactions, most specifically CostPoint.

Qualifications

Youll Bring These Qualifications:
 
  • BS or BA in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Accounting with a minimum of five years Supply Chain experience.
  • Experience in ERP/MRP
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Project & Excel
 
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
 
  • 5 or more years in SIOP relevant experience.
